Harmony's Happy Hens

I enjoy raising chicks and I know how hard it can be for some to find laying hens. I've been asked by others to raise chicks for them because they want to have chickens at home as I do. My business idea is to raise baby chicks for people who don't have time or the right supplies to raise chicks but want to have chickens as a backyard pet. The added benefit of course of having full-sized laying hens is that they will very soon also be providing eggs!

At Harmonys Happy Hens , my baby chicks will be raised with lots of love and snuggles. All chickens in my care will have warm, dry bedding and plenty of food and water. My chickens feel safe and are very well-mannered, even friendly enough to join me on the front porch for breakfast!

My request for $5000 is because I would like a shed like a mini room dedicated just to my chicks. In the past, I've raised chicks in our guest bedroom which made an awful mess. If fully funded, I will be able to purchase a shed to hold the chicks, a kiddie pool, straw, food, fertilized eggs, incubator, and various other miscellaneous supplies like treats.

My chickens mean a lot to me. It is my goal and passion to have a lot of chickens and to raise chicks. Chickens are important to me.
