The family of Harper Ayton

Hi my name is Steven and I'm writing this on behalf of Nearby Taxis South Tyneside. By now most of you will have heard the horrifying news about 4 month old baby Harper who was tragically killed on Monday 11th March after being mown down by a car in Lanzarote also resulting in serious injuries to her Mam, Dad, Grandma and Grandad.

Some of you may know Debbie, who works for ourselves and previously was the owner of Richmond Taxis. Debbie's brother Derek, a retired firefighter of 25 years is Harper's Grandad currently recovering in Hospital along with the rest of his family in Lanzarote with Son in Law Tim and Wife Andrea still in a bad way. Debbie will be flying out to be with her brother at this sad time and as a company we thought we'd get involved in supporting the family through these truly life altering events.

We've set up this fund to give directly to the family to use as they wish but just to say that the whole of South Tyneside is thinking of you and we truly can't imagine what you are going through!

So please if you can give generously and lets send Alex, Tim, Derek and Andrea all our love and a special thought to baby Harper whose life was tragically cut short, may you rest in peace sweet, sweet girl!
