Harpers family through her heart surgery

Hi my name is Summer Gunter from Appomattox Va and we are asking for help to get us through our almost 3 year daughter Harper heart surgery. When we was pregnant with her and her twin sister Hazelynn we went in for a routine scan to check the babies heart unfortunately we got devastating news that out little girls Harper heart was abnormal. We was sent a hour and a half away from home to Charlottesville to their heart specialist where we learned she has what is called Tricuspid Atresia we also learned she would need a series of surgeries to reroute her blood to get better oxygenated blood flow. She had her first surgery the Glenn at almost 5 months old she had an okay recovery after spending a few weeks in the hospital in Charlottesville. We have been at home since spending time with her older brother Devin, older sister Adysyn, twin Hazelynn and all of her family and loved ones growing and learning. Around maybe 6 months ago we noticed she was not as energetic she couldn’t keep up to play and she didn’t want to walk as much. We learned that her oxygen levels was dropping as low as 40’s so I got in touch with her heart doctors and we went in for a heart cath to see what was going on after a few weeks we got a call that it was decided that she now needs to have her next surgery the Fontan. Her surgery is set for a date of July 17th. This surgery will also be done in Charlottesville a hour and a half away from home. When we spoke to them they informed us to expect up to two months in the hospital that this will be a long hard recovery for her. As much as I hate to ask I have came to terms that we will be needing some help because dad won’t be able to work for the duration of her stay to take care of her other siblings as well as spending time with her and helping her recover.
