Accident Recovery Fundraiser for Harpreet Kaur

At 6:30am on Thursday, February 15th, 2024, Harpreet Kaur, an international worker from India was the victim of a terrible accident after getting off the bus on her way to work. She was attempting to cross Main Rd in Eastern Passage when she was struck by a pickup truck heading south and again by a car heading north. She was immediately hospitalized with life threatening injuries. Her condition has stabilized but her injuries are serious and extensive. She remains in hospital in Halifax recovering from her first surgery. The duration of her hospital stay is unknown at this time. Harpreet has been a resident of Halifax since April of 2023.
