Harriette's Legacy: Support DC Youth Orchestra
Tax deductible
Our beloved mother, Harriette Dodson, a retired nurse and a dedicated and passionate piano teacher, imparted the magic of music to countless young souls throughout her life. She strongly believed in the transformative power of music education, seeing first-hand how it could inspire, heal, and empower. Sadly, she left us too soon, leaving behind a legacy of melody and love. In her memory, and to continue the work she so fervently believed in, we are humbly asking for donations to the Washington DC Youth Orchestra Program. This esteemed organization reflects the values and dreams she held dear—providing children with the opportunity to explore their musical talents, regardless of their background. Furthermore, three of her four children are alumni of the program.
By supporting the Washington DC Youth Orchestra Program, we not only honor our mother's memory but also help nurture the future generation of musicians she always dreamed of inspiring. Together, we can ensure her passion for music lives on, touching the hearts of young people and creating a lasting tribute to a remarkable woman whose life was a symphony of kindness, dedication, and love.
