The Home for Little Wanderers’ Harrington House is moving to Dorchester!
The Fitzgerald brothers are excited to be part of the re-dedication of Harrington House. Fifteen years ago we helped fund the original facility on Mission Hill and we are delighted to support its relocation to Dorchester where we were born and raised. Please join us in supporting Harrington House and help us exceed our 7k goal.
Harrington House is The Home for Little Wanderers’ group home for kids 8-15 who are in the care of the Department of Children and Families. These kids need support as they work toward transitioning back to their families, progressing to less restrictive settings or preparing to live independently. Harrington House does this through a safe and supportive home-like living environment that includes school attendance, sports, and other extracurricular activities.
You know The Home for Little Wanderers! Its mission is to ensure a child’s healthy behavioral, emotional, social and educational development and physical well-being. Their goal has always been the same: to help children and families thrive and succeed. For more than 200 years The Home has done that through programs and services for children and families who have experienced abuse, neglect and trauma, making a positive impact on over 14,000 lives each year.
