Harrogate Bonfire and Fireworks 2021
For nearly 50 years Harrogate RoundTable has organised a Charity Bonfire and Fireworks on the Stray and we need your help to make this year's event happen.
Harrogate RoundTable's members, supporters, friends, and family volunteer their time planning, setting up, managing, and tidying up the event every year but there are unavoidable costs of around £8,000 including the Fireworks themselves, transportation of the pallets, Road Traffic Management and First Aid provision. Every year the generous donations of the public not only cover these costs but generate a surplus in aid of a local charity.
We have set up this fundraiser to cover the costs of the event before it takes place with any surplus amounts raised though this fundraiser, or on the night, going to our chosen charity.

This year Harrogate RoundTable will be supported by volunteers from the Friends of Harrogate Hospital and the net proceeds from the event will be paid to them. The Friends of Harrogate Hospital is a group of volunteers who carry out fundraising for the benefit of patients at Harrogate Hospital and District NHS Foundation Trust. The Friends raise funds to provide things that the NHS cannot cover, improving the experience of patients and making their treatment, whether in hospital or in the community, a little more pleasant.
This will be the 50th year Harrogate RoundTable has run the Stray Charity Bonfire and Fireworks event and, with your help, we want to run an amazing event the whole community can enjoy.
If, for any reason, the event cannot take place all uncommitted funds generated by this fundraiser will be paid to Friends of Harrogate Hospital.
