Harrogate Stray Charity Fireworks 2022
Harrogate RoundTable has announced an exciting and free-to-attend evening of family entertainment which will mark the 51st year of charity fireworks on the Stray.
This year's event has been extended with an earlier opening time of 5pm. The bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm and the fireworks finale will be at 7.15pm. Lots of delicious food will be available from commercial vendors and the district Scouts who will be selling goods from local suppliers to raise funds for their local troops.
Harrogate RoundTable's members and supporters volunteer their time to plan, set up, manage and clean up this special event every year, but the costs associated with holding it have risen to over £10,000 due to the increasing costs of our suppliers and legislatively required services. We kindly ask all attendees to consider making a donation towards these costs, with the net proceeds to be donated to Harrogate Homeless Project.
Now in its 30th year, Harrogate Homeless Project provides people experiencing homelessness in the Harrogate district with a safe place to stay and support to build confidence and move towards independence. It operates a day centre, emergency overnight accommodation, a 16-bed hostel, and move on housing, alongside a range of other support services.
With your help we will be able to continue to run this amazing event for the whole community to enjoy.
Thank you very much for your donation.
