Harry Gray Memorial Recreation Center Fundraiser

Tax deductible
Protect the Children's Future (PCF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children in rural areas of Haiti. It was founded in 2011 by Harry Gray, an expatriate Haitian who grew up in the rural Haitian town of Miragoane. Harry was so moved by the plight of the boys and girls he encountered on frequent trips back to his native country that he decided to put a formal structure in place to maximize the impact he could have in making their lives healthier and happier and their futures brighter. Tragically, Harry passed away on June 11, 2020. But PCF will honor his vision and his memory by continuing to help Haitian children.

While PCF’s work in Haiti has mainly involved providing scholarships and hosting summer sports and arts camps, Harry had a larger vision for the children he served: to build them a multipurpose recreation center. that would include classrooms, conference rooms, a cafeteria, gymnasiums, an Internet cafe, an indoor game area, and ball fields.

PCF plans to do just that. The center – which will be centrally located near Miragoane to serve children in the entire region – will cost upwards of $250,000 to build. We hope you will help by donating whatever you can. To do so, please contact us, click on the Donate button above, or visit protectthechildrensfuture.org to learn more.
