Honoring the Life of a Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather
We are heartbroken to share the passing of my beloved grandfather, Harry Harisis. He was a man who embodied love, generosity, and unwavering support. Whether you were family, a friend, or a stranger in need, he always had a kind word, a helping hand, and a warm heart to share.
Born in the small village of Kato Meropi in Epirus, Greece, my grandfather’s life journey took him across the world to America, where he built a beautiful life for his family. He worked hard as a chef, raised his children with love and care, and shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Georgia. Together, they raised three children—Nypho, Larry, and Spiro—instilling in them the values of family, love, and resilience. His pride and joy also extended to his three grandchildren—Sam, Anna, and Georgette—who adored him beyond words.
My grandfather was also a beloved brother to seven siblings and an uncle to countless nieces and nephews. His legacy of kindness touched so many lives, and he was always there to offer support and encouragement to everyone he met.
On October 4, at 9:52 pm, after suffering two heart attacks in the ICU at Community First Medical Center, he left us unexpectedly. His passing has left an immense void in our hearts, but we find comfort in the love and memories he gave us.
As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we are seeking support to help cover the costs of his funeral and burial services. Any contribution, big or small, will help us honor the life of a man who gave so much to those around him.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this difficult time. Your support means the world to our family as we navigate this profound loss.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Harisis Family
