On September 10th, 2019 our lives as a family changed.
Harry was admitted into the hospital with possible pancreatitis but it was so much worse.
On September 11th, he was diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. A devastating prognosis for not only him but his wife, Gloria, and their 14 year old daughter, Gillian.
Since then Harry has been through a failed immunotherapy and three rounds of chemotherapy. He has had about a dozen blood transfusions since January and is currently on fluorouracil (5FU).
Harry is an electrician with the IBEW local union 3. He truly loves his job and his motto is "I would do it for free if I didn't have to pay my bills!" With a heavy heart, he had to stop working in October 2019.
Harry was also a volunteer for Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts and Snug Harbor September 11th Memorial in Staten Island.
Your donation would be greatly appreciated and help Harry and Gloria with future medical expenses, home health care, travel expenses and day to day expenses as well as their emotional well being because the sound of uncertainty and fear in a family members voice is truly devastating.
Thank you very much for your help and support during this extremely difficult time. Any and every contribution will help the Boudreau family immensely.
