Hartman Ohana Lost Everything in Maui Fire

I’m asking for help for a very special family. These people were the first friends I made when I moved to Maui 30 years ago and are like family to me. Svar, Michelle and their 12 year old son escaped the devastation of the Lahaina fire with their pets and their lives, but lost their home, possessions and livelihoods. They are currently camping at a friend’s house in Kula with 9 people, 7 dogs and other animals. This sweet family has spent decades in the Lahaina community and plans to return as soon as they can to help rebuild their beloved neighborhood, but needs immediate help with basic needs.
