Our mission is to support fieldworkers in California by raising awareness about their experiences and collecting donations to aid them in their daily lives and essential work. Fieldworkers are the backbone of our food supply, working tirelessly and under unfavorable conditions to put food on our tables everyday. They are rarely guaranteed fair labor practices and legal protection, face many health risks including heat-related illnesses and exposure to pesticides, and often lack higher education. Fieldworkers' children often work in the fields to help their families make ends meet. Agricultural is the deadliest sector for child workers in the U.S., yet there are very few protections against hazardous work for children. There are numerous other grueling conditions that fieldworkers endure to put food on our tables everyday.
