Harvey Briggs

Hello my name is Harvey Briggs, I am 15 years old and live in London (UK).   My Hockey career started when I would go along with my mum and watched her play roller hockey in 2006.  I always wanted to have a go at it, then one day my mum bought me my first pair of skates which were quads and I haven't stopped skating ever since.

I have been playing British Inline Ball Hockey, Ice Hockey and Inline Puck Hockey since I was 3 years old.

With the support of my coaches across all three disciplines, I have developed many skills which helped me achieved many awards, medals and trophies. I currently play for the ‘London Knigthz SHC’ (Club, National and International Level) and ‘Streatham U18s ‘(Club and National Level).

I am very proud to confirm that I have been successful in achieving a position on the Great Britain European U18 Men’s Team for 2019, where I will be playing at International level for the British Inline Puck Hockey Association. 

There will be two tournaments this summer, which will be held in Barcelona (Spain) and Roana (Italy).  This will be my first time  playing for Great Britain and I know this will make my parents and my coaches very proud to see me represent my country at the highest level.

I am trying to raise £3,500, to enable me to cover the costs of attending these tournaments (e.g. travel, accommodation, equipment, uniform, insurance, etc) and to continue pursuing my passion in Hockey.  I am training hard and doing whatever I can to keep getting better and improve my skills as a team player.  There will be an online streaming of the tournament where you will have the opportunity to see me and Team GB play.
