Hi there! My name is Frannie Joseph and I’m 11-years-old. My friends and I live in Fort Bend County, one of the areas hit by Hurricane Harvey back in 2017. We started this campaign immediately after the hurricane because we wanted to help the hundreds of animals who were abandoned or injured and the people working to save the lives of the animals. We loved giving back to the animal community so we’ve been fundraising ever since so that we can continue to support deserving animals in our area.
Our original plan was to reach $1,500 and deliver a check to the Humane Society of the United States. To our surprise, we raised over $3,500 in five days through lemonade stands and crowdfunding on this GoFundMe campaign. After the state director of the Humane Society accepted the check, they invited me to visit the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch (CABBR), a sanctuary in Murchison, Texas.
The CABBR changed my life and I fell in love with my new path. I came home with a new focus and a goal to raise money to buy supplies for their 800 plus animals. I’ve hosted lemonade stands and school fundraisers to help rally support from my community.
My fundraising has helped me realize what I want to do with my life and making a difference in the lives of animals is a huge motivation for me. On April 1st, I visited Austin’s Capitol to testify on behalf of the Humane Society of the United States regarding SB 641. The bill would prevent private ownership of wild animals like tigers, monkeys, and orangutans.
I carefully choose the sanctuaries and wildlife centers where donations are distributed based on the need at that given time. So far, I have donated to the Humane Society of the United States, Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch, and the South Florida Wildlife Center. All of the money I raise on this campaign will be sent to one of these organizations or another that is doing amazing work to support the animals.
Animals are always there to love and protect us, so let's be there for them!!! Please help us reach our goal and beyond!!!

Pictured Below: This is one of my dogs...Maggie (we named her after a character on The Walking Dead). She's 1 1/2 years old now, and when we got her she was covered in fleas and had tapeworms. Now she watches over us! ❤️
Now she's family! Help us with the animals because they need us!
