Family and friends, we all know and love Lauren and Ian Harvey. Their love for life, love for each other, and love for all of us is simply incredible. Lauren is one of the most generous souls I know and now it's our turn to help her through this difficult time.

A note from Lauren:
Last year was very challenging for everyone. But, Ian and I struggled in a different way than most. We suffered through two miscarriages and a molar pregnancy which is when cells from a non-viable pregnancy continue to grow and make your body think you are still pregnant. A few MRI/CTs later, my doctor discovered a tumor on my pituitary gland, completely unrelated to my pregnancy issues. I had surgery this past February to biopsy the tumor in hopes that it was benign. Most pituitary tumors are. However, the results of the biopsy came back and it was not what any of us expected...cancer. I was diagnosed with an extremely rare bone cancer called cranial chrondrosarcoma which will likely require additional surgery and potentially radiation. But if you know me, this is just a minor set back. Ian and I want to maintain our focus on starting a family of our own. And although chemotherapy is not in the cards (at least not so far), time is not on our side. Because of my age and the impending surgery/radiation, my doctor recommended that I begin the process of egg freezing now and IVF once I’m recovered. I am not one to ask for help. I like to give it; I don’t like to receive it. Especially not financial help. But I don’t think anyone could ever prepare mentally or financially for the cards we’ve been dealt this year. So I am humbly asking you to consider a donation toward our fertility journey and Baby Harvey and any other cancer related medical expenses. It would be the greatest gift we could ever receive: to say that we were finally blessed with a healthy baby! Oh yeah, and that I kicked cancer’s @$$ all in the same year. Because I will kick cancer’s @$$! I love you all!
