Hassan Mohamed Adan- Sadaqah Jariyah

May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.

We are the children of Hassan Adan. He was challenged with his health since 2021. He visited many doctors in that time but no one could put their finger on what the cause of his stomach pain was. He returned back to the UK in September 2023 and was then diagnosed with Mantle cell Lymphoma October 2023. He started treatment shortly after in January 2024 as they said he was already on stage 4.

Things changed very quickly and drastically as his kidneys started to fail, got an infection,his spleen started to enlarge and his body became too weak for a spleen operation. The cancer targeted his spleen, bone marrow and white blood cells.

He was meant to be discharged on Saturday 24th February, however he wasn’t able to as he suffered from a stroke and a seizure at the same time. This caused bleeding in the brain, which meant that he was then ventilated and rushed for an operation.

With Ramadan around the corner, we are hoping to raise money for our father so that we can do acts of charity in his name.
