Our family is so deeply saddened that we have to bury our little Brother and son! There are no words to describe the pain and agony of what we are feeling. Hassan, we hope to give you the dignity and respect you deserve as we lay you to rest. Your life was cut too short and we will make sure the person responsible is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. There were so many things you still wanted to do, including getting married and starting a new chapter in your life. You were ready to finish up the final bits of medical school left and you were so determined to help other people. You took such great care of Mom, especially when she was in the ICU. You were the expert in the room that could understand and translate her treatment plan which helped us to make decisions about her care and explain avenues to take while she was suffering. Only four months ago we lost mom and now have lost you. May God rest your soul and give you peace. You’re with Mom and Ballal now. She’s got her Boys with her.

Hassan you are truly loved by so many. This is a heavy loss on so many people that you impacted in such a positive way. You brought joy to so many.

Your family will miss you. Your nieces and nephews always thought of you as a superhero. We’re all praying for your salvation.

Indeed, we belong to God and indeed to Him we shall return.
