HASTINGS AMBULANCE STRIKE HARDSHIP FUND
Donation protected
Hi,
Hastings Ambulance staff are taking industrial action on the 21st and 28th December 2022.
The press and media will try to demonise us by calling us greedy and you will hear many untruths but the truth is that this goes much deeper than a pay rise.
Staff are taking action not just to increase pay but also because they are tired, angry and frustrated at not being able to provide the service that the public deserve due to government cutbacks to the NHS leading to the current awful situation that the NHS and Ambulance service is in.
Emergency cover for the most serious 999 calls will still be provided on the days of action.
Some of those staff taking action and losing money are on little more than minimum wage for working as a frontline emergency worker and times will be hard. This page is asking for help to lessen that blow for workers losing money so we are asking any staff who are not losing money on these days to help their colleagues by donating to this fund.
Feel free to share among family and friends in hope of gaining support in our fight to save OUR Ambulance service. Thank you.
