Hauptli preemie fighting to survive

Some dear friends of ours were so excited to add to their family and give big sister, Charlotte, a baby sister. Baby girl #2 was due September 1st, but on May 22nd, after weeks on bedrest due to complications, Caroline was born at just 25 1/2 weeks weighing in at only 1lb 8oz. It's been a rollercoaster since then to say the least. Last week was a really rough one, Thursday they gave Caroline 1-2 days to live. Her kidneys had shut down and her potassium was so high they thought she would go into tachycardia, but she is a fighter!! Early Friday morning she started peeing and her potassium levels dropped!! Since then she has improved significantly! Caroline is off her oscillator and on a ventilator. Oxygen administered is 29%. They started feeding her breast milk yesterday!! The power of prayer is amazing . Daddy, Chris, is working so hard to provide for his family, but they could use some extra love and support to help in any way possible. Mommy, Laura, needs to be with Caroline as much as possible, so working isn't an option right now. They need to be able to pay bills and still care for their older daughter. The Hauptlis are such selfless, kind and giving people and they truly love helping others. They will forever be grateful for any donations and/or prayers you can give them.
