Avery's Cancer Treatment Fund
Donation protected
On Wednesday 11.12.14 our six month old daughter Avery was diagnosed with retinoblastoma (RB). RB is a rare eye cancer found in children under the age of 5. We were devastated when we heard the diagnosis, as any parent would be! We were given two treatment options which were; enucleation (removing the eye) or Chemotherapy. Both of these are difficult to swallow. We have chosen to go with chemotherapy to try to save her vision in the diseased eye. The doctors seem pretty positive and confident that they can shrink the tumor in her left eye and save some, if not all of her vision. We as parents are willing to do what it takes to make sure we are making the best decisions for our child. We are trusting God and the medical team to help our baby live a "normal" life cancer free.
We are asking for help because we know these next weeks, months, years are not going to be easy. We are young parents and we know insurance is certainly not going to pay for all the treatment costs. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would not go unrecognized!
We thank each and every one of you for your love, support, and prayers!
