My name is Dre and I'm Faith's (favorite) Aunt and I'm starting a new GFM for Faith in hopes of raising more money for her treatment. The Nervis family is struggling to make ends meet and I'm hoping we can come together once more to support them.
Although the last GFM helped Faith get through the first phase of her treatment for her Stage 3 Whilms Tumor (child kidney cancer) including chemotherapy and radiation the The Nervis' are currently spending:
Approximately $600 a WEEK on chemo copays and $2,300.00 every 2 weeks on NON-covered shots that she gets daily. This is not including travel expenses to and from the Roseville hospital or their monthly bills that as we ALL know will never let up.
As you can see the donations previously provided went rather quickly considering the cost of out of pocket treatment. The previous GFM was beyond generous and the Nervis family is extremely grateful. If you know them then you know that this is true. So lets all come together once again to help them kick cancer's ass!
