Have Mercy - Eye Surgery for Dog

Tax deductible
A Different Breed Rescue Group found Mercy at a high kill city shelter in a cage shaking and trembling….the poor thing was just terrified! She had good reason to be….. She was considered a “Senior”at 5+ years old and blind.  This sweet girl tugged at our heart immediately; how could we leave her behind when she was so, so scared.  She was pulled and brought back to our sanctuary.
She has since been groomed and shaved down and her hair is growing back nicely. She has been spayed and updated on shots, and the vet thinks she is only 5-6 years old! Her eyes are cloudy from cataracts ,which can be corrected with surgery.
Mercy is a schnauzer mix with a happy go lucky personality, always wanting to be held, petted and loved on.  She is a talker!! And even though she cannot see well, she is very active and running around with the other dogs.
Mercy has a lot of years left to live and we want them to be the amazing years she deserves! We are looking to raise enough money for surgery on at least one eye so she can see again. Surgery is estimated at $2,500- $3,000 per eye.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!
