Havelock Boys & Girls Soccer Program

Havelock High School Ram Soccer fans, friends and families,
As we get ready to kick off the boys’ soccer season this fall and then head into the girls soccer season next spring, our teams need your help! As many of you know, we are in need of new equipment, and uniforms for the boys and girls programs as well as other needed training equipment. Havelock High School has always been a football school, however, over the past few years, the soccer program in this town has grown significantly. Due to fiscal restrictions the budget has been unable to keep up. The new administration has looked at the program that is being built and has decided to allow the program to fund raise in order to acquire new uniforms and equipment. As you all are well aware, the COVID 19 situation has made fundraising the old fashion way, nearly impossible. Knowing the team can’t buy the needed equipment without fundraising, some parents have decided to start a Go Fund Me with all proceeds being sent to the Havelock High School Soccer program in order to purchase the needed uniforms and equipment. This fundraising initiative will raise money to purchase new uniforms for both varsity teams, with uniform money being split evenly and all equipment that is purchased used for all members of the program. Havelock High School sports have a partnership with Under Armor. The boys and girls varsity teams have Under Armor uniforms but due to financial shortfalls, the junior varsity soccer teams have outdated Adidas uniforms, with the girls having to share ill-fitting boy's uniforms for both varsity and JV squads. The school doesn't have the means to provide new uniforms at this time so we are asking for help. The goal is aggressive; we would like to raise $10,000 for the soccer program in the coming weeks with $5,000 ($2500 to each the boys and girls teams) going to the acquisition of new varsity uniforms. The current varsity uniforms would be given to both junior varsity teams. The program also wishes to acquire a two-way goal, costing $1,200.00, as well as new practice balls by Under Armor at a cost of $35.00 each ($1,400.00 for 40 soccer balls). This year will also see the soccer team looking to sponsor its own sports program to be sold at home games, breaking from the past in which the program only had a few pages in the football program. These programs will highlight both boys and girls soccer teams during the season. The program will also thank all of our corporate sponsors and businesses. To do this we need you. No donation is too small; all we ask is that your donations be made anonymously or that the amount of your donation be made anonymously. We believe that this has the potential to be a huge year for the Havelock High School Soccer Program. There is little doubt that our program can have a huge impact on the surrounding communities and region this year, with the boy's team being touted as a pre-season favorite to win the conference title. This program has never had such accolades or momentum than it has going into this season, if you have the means please help us to outfit and equip them properly, as your donations will most certainly benefit the program for years to come.
