Havurah Synagogue Mitzvah Match 2020
Tax deductible
We have received $24,470 in pledges from our Challenge Donors, who love the Havurah and are asking you to match their generosity in supporting our community.
What a year 2020 has been! A year of challenges unlike any we’ve seen in our lifetimes. We're so proud to say that our team of teachers, prayer leaders, storytellers, musicians and singers joined Rabbi David Zaslow went into overdrive at the onset of Covid 19 to help prevent the isolation that we knew was inevitable. Coming together face-to-face on Zoom for our online services and classes has been a source of deep connection for so many, well beyond our Rogue Valley.
As many of you know, the Almeda fire ripped through our valley, devasting nearly 2,500 businesses and homes. Our community distributed nearly $20,000 to victims of the fire, especially to the marginalized Hispanic community where so many were left homeless with no insurance. We helped over 110 families to feel connected to, supported by, and cared for by the Jewish community.
And now, we turn to you for your support so that we can continue to be a source of welcoming, connecting and receiving spiritual nourishment. With no fundraising events due to Covid 19, you are our source of strength!
Please make a tax-deductible donation by December 31st!
Every dollar you donate will be doubled thanks to the generosity of our Challenge Donors!
