Hawaii International Cup Soccer ⚽️

Hi Everyone!

I am thrilled to share that Hunter's team SSFC Thunder has been ACCEPTED into the highly coveted Hawaii International Cup, which will take place from August 11th to 13th, 2024. This is the 25th edition of the tournament, and it welcomes U.S. and international teams with divisions for both boys and girls, ranging from U8 to U19. The Hawaii International Cup (HIC) accommodates all levels of play and is one of the largest competitive youth soccer tournaments in Hawaii.

Currently, the boys are actively fundraising to cover their own airfare, hotel, and food expenses for the three-day tournament. Although Hunter is selling 'starving student' discount dining cards, these cards are only valid locally in our area of Utah, and unfortunately, we don't know anyone who can utilize them being so new to the area. If you would like to support Hunter's fundraising efforts by making a donation of any amount, it would be greatly appreciated.

Steve and I will also be attending the tournament, bearing our own expenses. Hunter will have the opportunity to travel and room with his team, making this a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. ALL donations received will be exclusively used to cover Hunter's airfare, hotel, and meals during the tournament. Each player has an individual fundraising goal of approximately $1500 to achieve.

We are bursting with joy at the thought of witnessing Hunter play in such a prestigious tournament. Those who know me well understand that visiting Hawaii has always been a dream of mine. Combining my dream trip with the chance to watch my son play the sport he loves fills me with immense happiness! I think Steve would have preferred Alaska since he's more of a cold weather guy... lol but he's just as excited.

Hunter is committed to doing everything within his power to contribute to this trip. He is willing to take on challenges such as push-ups, sit-ups, and even recite poetry. No request is off the table! Please feel free to suggest any unique ways in which Hunter can help towards the fundraising efforts.
