Hawke’s Medical Bills

Hi, As a few of you may know Hawke has an inoperable brain tumor that causes him to have seizures sometimes. The type of seizures that he has is called a grand mal seizure and it is the highest level that you can have. It causes the body to completely freeze up and lose consciousness. While this has not been the first that he has had it is certainly by far the worst… he was doing what he loves most at the time the seizure occurred. He was standing on top of a 7ft ledge to film a buddy skating when the seizure happened. Unfortunately, he fell off the 7ft ledge onto the concrete below. This caused him to completely shatter his right foot. He had to get surgery and has four screws in place. He cannot put any weight on his right foot for almost a year as the doctor described it as mangled. When he fell we believe he hit his feet first then landed backward on his head. He had to get roughly 20 stitches to the back of the top of his skull. The gash was about 4-5 inches and we were surprised we could not see his skull. As a result of hitting his head he also fractured his neck on his C5 & C6 bones. We are very lucky that he is still here today & not paralyzed. He will have to be in a wheelchair while he gets his strength back for about two months. Then he will move to an electric scooter. He will have to wear a neck brace for awhile but the doctors said that his neck should heal as well. Anyway, we created this go fund me to help him with medical bills and various expenses while he is out of commission. Any donation we are eternally grateful for. Despite all of the trauma he has been through these last few days he is still staying positive and very much himself. We are so thankful to still have him around as there is no one like him.
