Hayden Breeze’s Brain Cancer Fighting Fund

Friends, family, colleagues, and coworkers: My brother recently found out some news that will greatly impact his life. People have already reached out and asked how they can help him and his family through this difficult time, so we have set up this GoFundMe to assist with upcoming costs during his cancer treatment.

On March 21st, Hayden suffered what seemed to be a random seizure. He was taken to Foothills Hospital where he would undergo multiple CT scans, a PET CT scan, and MRI. These tests would lead to the information that he has 2 lesions on his brain. A biopsy of these lesions, done on March 29th, returned the devastating diagnosis of cancer, stage four, a type previously known as a Glioblastoma.

During this biopsy, they removed some tissue, which has left him with a limp in his right side. Due to this happening, the neurologists recommended against surgery to remove the tumors because of their location on the motor cortex. He will instead be starting a very aggressive treatment plan of chemotherapy and radiation once his biopsy site has healed. The first treatment will be 5 days a week for 6 weeks and will take a huge toll on his energy levels and ability to work. He remains on a high dose of anti-seizure medication.

Hayden is the SOLE provider for his family, his wife, Corianne, and two children with autism, Rowen (14yo) and Malakai (12yo). During this time, he will no longer be able to work at Fortress Engineering. Any raised funds will provide financial help to cover as many things as possible during this difficult time and may be used for: replacement wage, additional house support, parking costs, takeout food, additional care for the children, bills, and any other items that may come up during this time. Anything that you choose to give will be accepted with a full and grateful heart by his family, and any surplus will be used to support their children in the future.
