Hayden,Georgia and bubba Bella chilvers

On the 3rd of August 2024, Hayden and Georgia welcomed their beautiful daughter, Isabella Chilvers into the world. From the moment she arrived, Bella has brought immense joy and love into their lives. However, their world was turned upside down just one week later.

On the 10th of August, only seven days old, Bella developed a concerning fever and wasn’t quite herself. Hayden and Georgia rushed her to the GP, who urgently advised them to go to the Emergency Department. There, Bella was quickly taken into invasive surgery for a crucial diagnosis.

As new parents, Hayden and Georgia were heartbroken and terrified seeing their precious baby endure such distressing procedures. Their worst fears were confirmed when Bella was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness following surgery.

Currently, Bella is fighting for her life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Westmead Children's Hospital. The doctors have growing concerns about her heart and brain. The family is currently awaiting MRI results to determine if Bella has an abscess on her brain. Bella requires a PICC line to the heart and will undergo further extensive testing in the coming days. The road to recovery will be long and challenging, with Bella expected to remain hospitalised for the foreseeable future.

We’ve set up this Go Fund Me page to help Hayden and Georgia with the upcoming medical bills associated with Bella’s condition and accommodation expenses so they can stay close to Bella during her treatment.
