Help Hayden Get Top Surgery

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for even reading this. I’m starting a GoFundMe for my husband, Hayden. He needs top surgery. He works outside in heat advisories in Arkansas, all day, 6 days a week- while wearing a binder. Not only is it a health risk in this heat, but it’s also really draining his mental and emotional health. Wearing a binder every day just reminds Hayden that he was born in a body that doesn’t match who he really is. It’s a daily reminder that at any moment, he could be outed at work. It’s a small “screw you” every single day. Hayden moved to Arkansas from Kentucky. He has no family here, other than me- his wife. When he decided to transition, we were so scared. We are lucky to have a small support circle to lean on. Lots of transgender people don’t have any support. Hayden has already undergone a total hysterectomy- back in 2019. This is the final step for him to help get his body dysmorphia under control. His final step toward freedom. Toward a healthier mindset. Toward self love, self worth, self confidence. Toward happiness. We don’t want any help that you cannot give. Sharing this story is just as helpful. So far, we’ve done everything on our own. We just can’t wait much longer for this step.
