Hayden's Heroes

Hayden is a happy, funny, active 6th grader in Basehor. On August 1, 2014, Hayden suddenly had multiple seizures, resulting in brain surgery on August 2nd, and a diagnosis of Glioblastoma, which is a very rare brain cancer Hayden has bravely fought this cancer undergoing radiaition, chemo-therapy, and anti-seizure medication. Miraculously, during this treament Hayden was cancer-free for most of 2015. On Tuesday, February 16, 2016, during a follow-up scan, the doctors discovered that the brain tumors had returned and were larger than they had ever been. The doctors have determined there are no further treatment options, and are now looking at treatment for quality of life purposes only. This aggressive type of tumor multiplies every seven days. Hayden's Heroes are raising funds to support Hayden and his mother. The funds will be used however they wish so they can enjoy and spend every moment together.
