Healing with Hayes

Hi, my name is Chantel. I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my God daughter Hayes.
On March 1st, 2024, the life of sweet 5-year-old Hayes took an unexpected turn. One moment she's peacefully nestled in her bed, and the next, she's jolted awake by an excruciating pain in her back. Sensing something was wrong, her mom, Jah, sprang into action and brought her straight to the ER, where a heart-wrenching discovery awaited them: Neuroblastoma.
This wasn't their first trip to the ER; it was the third in just six months. The prior visits left them with vague diagnosis of HSP and unanswered questions. But Jah's motherly instinct knew her daughters pain needed to be taken seriously. Advocating fiercely for her daughter, she pushed for further tests, uncovering a mass in Hayes's chest. The devasting truth: Neuroblastoma, stage M.
To know Hayes is to love her vibrant spirit. She's a bundle of sass and kindness, with a love for dancing and belting out Beyoncé tunes. Animals hold a special place in her heart, and she loves to pretend she’s a hairstylist like her mom. Even amidst pain, Hayes's radiant smile lights up any room.
Now begins a long journey of treatment, starting with rounds of chemotherapy. The sudden upheaval demands immediate adjustments from Hayes and her family, who find themselves forced into a new reality in the blink of an eye.
This GoFundMe campaign aims to alleviate the financial strain accompanying Hayes's battle. Hayes’ parents, Jah and Sus, face countless hospital trips and stays, doctor’s appointments, and 24 hour care to support Hayes’s recovery. Your generous donations will directly aid the family in covering essential expenses—rent, utilities, transportation, and medical costs—ensuring Hayes receives the best care she needs without added financial stress.
Hayes's simple wish? To have her parents by her side every step of the way. Your support not only eases the burden on Hayes’s parents but also empowers them to focus entirely on Hayes's recovery, offering hope in the face of adversity.
Hayes and her family are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and support they've received thus far. With heartfelt thanks to all who donate and share this link, they embark on this journey with renewed strength and unwavering faith.
Once again, thank you, and God bless.
