Hayes Lesher - Fight Cancer Fund

Today, September 29, 2015 our dad, Hayes Lesher was diagnosed with cancer. We are still unsure at this time the extensity of this form of cancer [Squamous Cell Carcinoma] The cancer has spread to his lymph node. It either started in the throat, tonsil or back of the tongue area (Yep, and he's never used tobacco!!) It started out with a swollen lymph node in his neck, he went to a local doctor and had two failed biopsies. He then went to a specialist in Tyler where they did an MRI and were able to determine he had a tumor. He then went back where they did a four needle biopsy and were able to determine it was cancer. Hayes (our Dad) is a father to 4 children, a husband to Laura of 23 years, a Papa to Braxton Drew and Camryn Hayes, a son, a brother and a friend to so many. He has been a Police Officer for 22 years, he is also a Principal for Mount Pleasant Independent School District. He has worked with the community in softball events and multiple other things.  Dad also umpires and officiates for UIL, . He is a very outgoing person, always up on his feet and a go-getter. Our dad is a strong man and we know he will fight and beat this battle. If you cannot donate, prayers will be greatly appreciated more than anything!! We thank you ahead of time.
