Hayley's Heart and Health: A Call for Help

Thank You all for the generous donations. We wanted to provide an update on Hayley.

On March 7th, 2025 Hayley passed away. She was surrounded by some of the people who loved her the longest. Hayley was a force to be reckoned with. She was witty, smart, kind, loyal, and loved fiercely. Her and her sister were best friends and this loss is hard. We are all extremely heart broken. Her smile and laugher will be missed, but never forgotten.

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share a bit about Hayley and her journey over the past couple of months, which has been quite challenging. She's faced serious medical hurdles, including multiple fractured vertebrae and several infections that have been complicated by her diabetes.

On top of this, she experienced the traumatic loss of her beloved pet, which added to the emotional weight of the situation.

Most recently February 23, 2025, she went through a cardiac arrest that resulted in several minutes of lost vitals and required intubation. Most likely, it further injured her vertebrae and multiple ribs. An MRI will need to be performed to view the total extent of the new damage.

She has a very small network of family and friends who have become extremely involved but entirely overwhelmed.

Not only has Hayley lost over 2 months worth of work, but it's likely that she will be out of work for several more. Her family is hoping for the kindness of strangers to help with the cost of her recovery so that one stressor may be lifted off of her during this time.
