Help Us With Hay’s Emergency Surgery!

Hi everyone, my name is Ximena and I need your help!!

My bulldog who is a 7 year old female, needed an emergency surgery the night of 01/21/24. We woke up the morning of Jan 20th to her not acting like herself, being distant, hiding from us, not wanting to eat, could barely walk, bend to potty or even move. She wasn’t reacting to anything she normally does. We took her into our local emergency pet hospital, and after a sonogram and blood work and a few other tests, we found out she has a very swollen uterus, full of liquid, blood clots and pus and something else which they weren’t able to tell what it was until surgery was done on her. We were told her uterus could rupture if they didn’t immediately take her into surgery. She has been vomiting every couple of minutes because of the amount of pain she is in. We received an estimate of how much everything is going to cost, including the surgery, her being hospitalized, after care and treatment. We were told it was going to be a total of $10,000. So I decided to come here for help, so my husband and I can pay for it and it helps me give my baby girl a longer chance at life with my family.

UPDATE: Hailey is in surgery now, and is also getting stones removed.

UPDATE: She has been out of surgery, and recovering. There has been complications with her breathing and she has been connected to oxygen..
