Hazel needs funds for a Bone Marrow Transplant

Hi, my name is Gerardo and I am fundraising for Hazel, the daughter of my friend Daly Rodriguez (IG @todosporhazel).

Hazel is 19 years old and she was recently diagnosed with Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), a rare, acquired, life-threatening disease of the blood. The disease is characterized by destruction of red blood cells, blood clots, and impaired bone marrow function.

Hazel requires a bone marrow transplant to live. In the meantime, Hazel requires blood and platelets transfusions since she no longer produces stem cells.

Hazels brother is 100% genetically compatible and will become the donor of bone marrow as soon as the transplant can be arranged.

Your support is required to collect the necessary funds for this expensive procedure. Daly, Hazel's mom, has done everything possible to collect funds and continues searching for a hospital that can carry this procedure. Any small amount of your generosity will go long ways to provide hope and a future to Hazel.
