Hazel Parker Playground Pictures

Dear Friends of Hazel Parker Playground:
For the last couple of years, several of us have been working to archive and display the 7 decades of photographs that used to hang on the walls at the playground. We are so pleased that we were able to raise a little over $9000 through this gofundme campaign and through some checks. We have been able to reframe photographs from the 1930s through half of the 1970s.
We need to raise $4000.00 more to finish framing the 1970s and 1980s.
Who were the king and queen of the 1972 Valentine's dance?
Who was the Azalea Queen from the 1940s?
Who won the yo yo contest in 1961?
Who won most valuable player for the Mites basketball team in 1980?
Can't remember? Well it's all there, chronicled in those pictures. Please join us and get the rest of the playground pictures back on the wall .
If you are willing to contribute $25, $50 or more, please make a contribution via this Go Fund Me campaign or mail a check made payable to our framing partner, Artizom. If you choose to write a check please make it payable to Artizom and add in the memo line: Hazel Parker Picture Project. The mailing address is Artizom, 1834 Summerville Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405
Thank you so much!
