In Loving Memory of Hazel Ramirez

Hi, my name is Pauline Ramirez, Hazel’s sister-in-law, and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of Hazel’s family.

With a heavy heart, Hazel unfortunately passed away on 10/28/23. She was the baby of the family and was well loved by her family and friends. She suffered from Giant Axonal Neuropathy, a progressive, degenerative neurological brain disease ever since she was the age of 5. The disease left her wheelchair bound, with severe scoliosis and completely dependent on her mother, Rosalba, for everyday needs. There is no cure for this genetic, rare disease and ultimately, her body succumbed to COVID. Please donate to help our family lay Hazel to rest and/or kindly share this fundraiser campaign.
