HBCU College Tour 2024

Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.
-H. Jackson Brown
Hi, my name is Brooklyn Mercier! Thank you for taking an interest in building my future. I am seeking donations to help cover the cost of attending HBCU College Tour from March 23 - March 30, 2024. My parents and grandparents instilled the value of an education since my early childhood. With their guidance, I have become (becoming, still growing) a resilient, high-achieving, goal-oriented young woman by maintaining a 4.0 during middle school and a 3.5-grade point average during my first year of high school at Central Catholic High School, participating in extracurriculars and becoming a leader. I feel deeply grateful for this opportunity and I am committed to making the most of it. I appreciate the time, hope, and effort that everyone has invested in me.
I want to visit and experience colleges that represent me and reflect black culture, history, entrepreneurship, and struggle. I'm eager to see what the HBCU experience will bring. I plan to contribute towards my $1800.00 goal by doing odd jobs for my grandparents (open to working for others) and saving my allowance, along with receiving assistance from my parents. Thank you again for your time!
Respectfully,
Brooklyn Ty'Je Mercier
