(B.A.S.I.C.) Building Athletic Scholars Into Champions a Community Service JuniorTennis Program with Coach Kelvin J. Brown USPTA with over 35+ years coaching youth will be sending 12+ junior tennis players to Atlanta, and Savannah, GA. to the HBCU Junior Tennis Tour Combine where they will be seen by some of the top HBCU Colleges and Universities (Georgia State University-Clark Atlanta University-Morehouse College- and Spelman College) coaches while competing against other top Southern junior players.
We're in need of your assistance for Airfare, Residency, and Transportation for a 10 day trip from June 27- July 7, 2018. To help secure airfare, and residency your donation assistance is needed by May 5, 2018 or sooner.
Some of these juniors are up and coming top ranked junior players seeking scholarships, and a careers in tennis. Several of them have won Southern California Tennis Association tournaments sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association, and were among some of the top junior players at the 100's American Tennis Association National Championships in Baltimore, MD. July 27 - Aug. 5, 2017.
The B.A.S.I.C. program, in association with the Pete Brown Scholarship Fund program over the years have provided youth players with many opportunities in assisting them in fulfilling there tennis dreams to go on to colleges and in some cases to play on professional tennis tour.
