Morgan and Cyndi were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their third child, a joyful addition to their loving family. However, fate had other plans, and the journey took an unexpected turn as Morgan faced a traumatic birth that led to a uterine rupture, necessitating an emergency C-section.

Their precious baby, Persephone, is now in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UVA in Charlottesville, struggled after being deprived of oxygen during the difficult delivery. The couple's world turned upside down as they balanced the challenges of a fragile newborn with two toddlers waiting at home.

Cyndi, a devoted mother and partner, has been herself out of work since October due to her own medical issues. The burden of medical bills, coupled with the daily expenses of commuting between Bedford and Charlottesville to be with their baby, added an extra layer of stress to their already overwhelming situation.
