Lost Everything to an Apartment Fire...

She goes by the name of "Colors" The World Famous Colors!

She has been an educator and stylist in our local communities for over 35 yrs. Providing an environment where stylist, children and families can come learn about haircare for free. She has been a positive staple in our community. She is known for being a top sales and distributor of a major hair product line in the late 90's to 2019 to currently working to assemble her very own hair care line. She has lived in the Avalon Apartments in Newark for 2yrs this is where she called home and stored most of her beloved products and educational materials. Over 35yrs of work stored in her apartment, clothing, personal items and other valuables that have been collected over the years all destroyed in an apartment fire on the morning of Saturday March 23, 2024. This left Colors devastated and displaced. Red Cross has stepped in for residents but has only provided $350 to each resident to get clothing, food and shelter. She was only able to get minimum and was only able to get 3 nights stay at an hotel for that amount. Since this occurred it has been a struggle daily to maintain hotel cost and other needed life expenses. She is a senior and living on a fixed income and now without anything which has made this situation for her quite critical. She is desperately in need of donations to help with shelter expenses, food, clothing (She wears size medium) and gas. She has nothing.
