David Rosener & Family Fund
Donation protected
My brother, David Rosener, is a 33 year old loving husband and father of 3 beautiful children from Wisconsin.

David discovered he had a very rare disease, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, when he was in high school and has lived with the symptoms and complications ever since then.
In 2006, David received a liver transplant. Thanks to his cousin, it was a live donor liver. For a few years, his health significantly improved. But in the past year or so his liver had started deteriorating again. Now he needs a cadaver liver as his disease is primarily in the bile duct and this time he needs a full liver. So he has been placed on the donor list and is awaiting an organ donation.

However, he is in and out of the hospital with several complications due to this disease. He is not able to work full time anymore, if at all. His wife Jenny, who is also a nurse, is trying to work as much as possible at the same time as managing the house work, taking care of their children, and taking David to a hospital in Minnesota (90 miles from where they live) when he's having complications. David and Jenny are very blessed to have Jenny's family close by to help watch their kids when Jenny is by David's side in the hospital for sometimes several weeks in a row.
They are experiencing a heavy financial burden without David's regular income. With the holidays quickly approaching, they are also faced with the realization that they will not be able to afford much if anything this year.
Being on a transplant list is very stressful for the whole family because along with the serious medical complications and illnesses, it is hard to wait for an indeterminate time watching David getting sicker and weaker and never knowing when a liver will be available.
We'd like to provide David's family with a financial gift especially this season to help them with non-medical expenses and relieve a little bit of their stress as we await his liver transplant and David's full recovery.
