Support Cameron's Accident Recovery
On August 21, 2015, Cameron was in an auto wreck and sustained a head trauma and numerous fractures to his face. Many of you know Cameron as a strong, independent soul who loves the world of health and healing - so this will be an active journey deep inside his own body.
After a few days of acute recovery, his surgeons decided that Facial Reconstruction was necessary. On top of the head trauma that Cameron is slowly recovering from, he just received surgery to repair the bones in his face; however, they are still unsure what the next steps will be as there are still complications. He has the hardwarde in his gums for potential facial fixation (wiring of the jaws shut for 6 weeks) but are waiting on the primary swelling to go down (from the metal plates and screws in his cheeks and nose) before deciding what the next steps are, as his teeth and some other bones are still out of alignment.
Cameron understands that this road to recovery will be lengthier than expected and was told that he cannot work for 6-8 weeks as his brain, face and body repair themselves. We are asking our community to lovingly join together in supporting our beloved Cameron as he weathers this recovery. In addition to his recovery, his mother has flown out to caretake, and she also is having to take a break from work for a few weeks.
Our goal is for 232 of Cam's closest friends and family to offer a donation of $25 to provide for his needs, immediate bills, and mother's emergency travel expenses during the next two months of recovery.
If we can rally our community and receive 232 backers at this pledge level, we'll be able to collectively generate $5,800 to sustain him and his support system during this challenging time.
Alternative Pledge Levels:
$12 - Love - thanks so much for being a friend!
$40 - Big hug - you are making Cam's recovery possible. Thank you so much
$75 - Family Donor - Be part of a family celebration for Cam this new year after he makes his recovery.
$150 - Mother / Father / Beloved Friend - You know who you are and we thank you for being one of Cam's angels. Blessed be.
Thank you for your support.
