MELISSA ESPINOSA IS INNOCENT!! PLEASE HELP!
We are EXTREMELY concerned friends raising a defense fund to pay defense attorney's fees and to bond Melissa Espinosa out of jail. This fund will help defend, vindicate, and clear Melissa Espinosa of completely wrongful charges and to eventually assist in the arrest of the person responsible for Melissa being charged with two unjustified felonies.
It is a tragic story because Melissa, who is such a sweet, generous, and honest soul, who has been victimized and framed for another's crimes. All that know Melissa, know that she is the most honest, sweet, sincere, trusting and beautiful person with the biggest heart of anyone you will ever meet. She is loyal to a fault and will always be there for a friend. Her wonderful inner beauty is her best trait and she is loved by ALL that ever meet and get to know her. She welcomes all as friends and BECAUSE she is so open, trusting and looking for the best in everyone, sometimes to the point of niavete, she was succeptable to this professional con-artist. Melisssa is ONLY guilty of letting a professional con-woman into her life accepting her as a friend when others didn't and then being set up by her to take a fall after being used and conned .
In short, Melissa trusted this "friend" and business associate enough for her to allow her to pay monies she was owed by her to a car dealership in the form of a down payment check on her new vehicle. The check this woman wrote was a fake manufactured check and caused Melissa to be charged with auto theft, because the woman changed her phone number on the Buyer's agreement so that Melissa would not learn of the crime until it was too late and caused Melissa to be charged with "auto theft" because Melissa is the owner of the vehicle. This woman deflected calls and also impersonsted Melissa when Addison, Tx detectives called, purposely hiding any problems about the check from Melissa and never alerting Melissa to any problem. The woman begin showing, little by little, that she was nothing but a methamphetamine smoking addict, con and scam artist. It is NOW known that this woman has a felony warrants for GRAND THEFT AUTO in Galveston County, felony warrants for FORGERY/HOT CHECKS in Dallas, and a warrant for STALKING in Oklahoma. The long list of intricate and diabolical scams that she is perpetrating on innocent people on a daily basis, is mind boggling. Before melissa was arrested and was aware of the deception with the vehicle, Melissa attempted to break off contact with this woman but she began stalking her. She also stole Melissa's key to her vehicle and took her vehicle for 3 days, without permission, and only returned it when threatened with the police, but left a bag with other people's identifying information in it that she gained as a result of scams. Melissa gathered the information from her vehicle and the bag as evidence against this woman for what she realized now was a con artist and professional scammer. Unfortunately, this woman, knowing that Melissa did not even suspect that the down payment had bounced, turned on Melissa and alerted detectives to where the vehicle or Melissa could be found in Houston, causing Melissa to also be found in possession of this woman's collection of identifying personal information of others and causing her to also be charged with "possession of personal identities," as well. It is a NIGHTMARE and this woman has done this to SCORES OF VICTIMS as well as to Melissa.
These are two completely unjustified felonies that are being charged to an innocent, sweet, loving, beautiful professionally licensed person whose only crime is trusting this con artist. This woman is now on the run, hiding in cheap hotels and smoking methamphetamine, and was calling to the jail claiming to be an attorney and stating various lies to attempt to keep Melissa in jail. She attempted to claim that Melissa, although she is Caucasian and born in the United States, was an illegal drug smuggler from Argentina, causing Melissa to have to endure hours of interrogation and had to produce evidence of citizenship by getting a copy of her birth certificate faxed to ICE/immigration to avoid getting put on a plane to Argentina and dumped there. Could you imagine being deported to a foreign country and dumped, not even knowing the language?? Terrifying!!! This evil con artist also continuedto call the jail, impersonating an attorney and claiming that Melissa and her friends are making death threats to her "client," to have her phone privileges taken away so she cant contact anyone to help her get out of jail or get an attorney. Both of those calls, impersonating an attorney, are felonies and one is a Federal crime. Although, the detectives are beginning to get the picture about this woman now that Melissa's stories are checking out and this woman is breaking laws, Unfortunately, Melissa still must prove her innocence in a court of law...and SHE NEEDS HELP!!
Melissa is such a sweet and loving soul with a heart of gold who would help anyone. Melissa has been severely traumatized by the insanely unjust arrest and lost over 15 pounds in only 4 days of incarceration at Harris County Jail. She was constantly in tears, but trying to be strong and write down EVERYTHING she knows of this evil woman in order to keep her mind off of the fact that her previously wonderful life has been permanently damaged by this monster.
