Record breaking 100 mile run around Central Park

Hi there, my name is Oz Pearlman , and I am an ultramarathon runner and professional mentalist. On April 8, 2022, I intend to break the record  for most miles run around Central Park ever. I expect to run over 100 miles which is a feat that has not been achieved since the park was founded in 1858.   

I have spent decades training my body and sharpening my mind for an effort of this magnitude but I’m inspired to do this NOW as my family’s personal way to help raise funds for the crisis in the Ukraine. As a parent of three young children, my heart breaks seeing the horrific violence in Ukraine and the impact on these young lives. I can't even imagine what kids and their parents are going through during this unjust war.

In advance of April 8, I will be kicking this off with $1,000 and then matching the next $9,000 of donations ($100 per mile to break the record and adding more thereafter!).  Please join me and give what you feel comfortable donating.  Every single cent will be donated to Save the Children, the global leaders of child protection. Please note they are a 501(c)(3) organization and your gift is 100% tax-deductible (GoFundMe will provide a receipt for your accounting records).  Their teams are delivering essential humanitarian aid to the children caught in the middle of armed conflict, forced from their homes in freezing temperatures, and exposed to injury, hunger and cold. Your pledges for my run will help provide people with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance.
