Help with evacuation of pregnant family member to safety!

Hello, World… I am Ilham, Davena’s friend and colleague in Egypt, where I am receiving treatment after escaping Gaza. I continue to raise funds and to report to you, our donors, the suffering of those around me,- friends, neighbours, strangers, and family.

I am focusing today on my sister who remains in Gaza, where hospitals are routinely demolished and hospital staff are killed or arrested. The situation for a young woman expecting her first child could hardly be any worse, and there is no one now in Gaza who has not lost a loved one to the brutal onslaught of constant shelling, bombing and random sniper fire. I grieve for my martyred students, buried, unmarked, in the rubble of their schools...

But I promise you, that I will deliver what you have entrusted to me to everyone who needs it. This is a promise and a covenant before God and before you. As we go forward, I will post photographs and reports on my social media accounts, where you can follow our progress.
