Devoted family man fighting for his life.

Rusty Simpson, 38 yrs old, was recently diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. For the past 6-8 months he has been experiencing debilitating headaches, dizziness, ears ringing, blurred Vision, nausea and vomiting. He has alot of tingling in his head.

Our family doctor was proactive and made referrals immediately, thinking it was a tumor. The Neurosurgeon that Rusty saw, said he wasn't excited about doing the surgery. The Neurologist ran several more tests including MRI's, CT Scans, PET Scan and Lumbar puncture, trying to get some answers. There has been very little communication from the Neurologist on results. Last we knew, they wanted to refer him some place else.

On June 3, 2022, Rusty had a consult with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Neurosurgery and Neurology. They are positive they can remove it but not without risks.

Having Surgery is our best option so they can biopsy it so they can rule out Cancer for sure.

Rusty will be off work for 6-8 weeks he thinks. He is the main source of income for his family, Holly-Wife, Lauren, Makaela and Raegan-daughters. While he will have a check coming either weekly or biweekly from Short term disability, there is still a gap that needs filled.

Rusty and I are terrible at asking for help, especially when everyone else is going through alot themselves.

Any money raised will go towards gas, lodging, meals and helping with bills while Rusty is off work.

We can't thank enough people for being there for us and checking in on him.

 

He needs an army to get through this and we are asking our friends and family to join that army. #RustysArmy
