Head Fire Tragedy - Scott Bar CA

Donation protected
My name is Barbara Geidel and my family suffered a tragic loss due to the fast moving Head Fire in Siskiyou County, CA on August 15, 2023. I served with the US Forest Service for 14 seasons as a Fire Lookout on the Klamath National Forest, keeping vigil over my family, neighbors and friends.
My oldest brother, Ken Lee Oliver, 71 years young, perished in the fast moving fire. His wife, Diane, was severely burned and is now receiving vital treatment at a burn center in Portland, OR
Their children, Christopher, Elan and Savana are reeling from the loss of their father and have put their lives on hold to support their beautiful mother during this horrific time.
Your donations will help my brothers children pay their expenses during this time, and hopefully get a safe and comfortable “temporary” home, i.e, Tiny Home, for my sister in law, once she is able to come back to the River we love.
