Head Shave for Maud!

Maud nous a tous impressionnés dans sa lutte contre son cancer du sein. C’est une battante et elle va vivre.

Et elle n’est pas seule.

Lionel, un ami de fac de Strasbourg, vient de se faire enlever toute la prostate, stade 2. Les pronostics à 5 ans sont bons malgré tout.

Mais tous n’ont pas cette chance.

Malgré sa vitalité, mon beau-frère Pav a succombé à son cancer du poumon cette année, 2 ans après son diagnostic (stade 4).

Je voulais faire un geste pour eux, eux qui se battent ou se sont battus contre leur cancer, tout en gardant un incroyable instinct et appétit de vie. Je les trouve fantastiques.

Il me reste quelques cheveux.

Pour mon anniversaire, le 28 juillet, Luca va les raser, et, en échange, je vais demander des dons.

Si je reçois 10€, je me coupe la frange.

A partir de 20€, c’est la tonsure.

A partir de 30€, juste la partie droite.

Au delà de 40€, la partie gauche part aussi!

Les dons iront à une association de lutte contre le cancer (propositions bienvenues!).

My cousin Maud is fighting breast cancer and has shown incredible resilience and bravery. She is a fighter and she will live.

She is not alone.

Lionel, a friend from university in Strasbourg, has just had his prostate removed, grade 2. His survival chances for the next 5 years are good however.

Not all have this chance.

In spite of his vitality, Pav couldn’t survive his lung cancer more than 2 years after his diagnosis.

I wanted to do something for them, who are fighting and who have fought, while keeping an incredible instinct and appetite for life. I think they’re incredible.

I still have a bit of hair left.

For my birthday, on July 28, Luca will shave whatever’s left, but in exchange, I will ask for donations.

If I receive €10, I will cut the fringe.

From €20, I will add a tonsure

From €30, I’ll shave the right side

And beyond €40, I’ll shave the left side too!

Donations will go to a cancer charity (suggestions welcome!)
